Yertle the Turtle's Habitat was Destroyed by Global Warming

Created for i09's article "Posters That Prove Dr. Seuss Movies Could Always Get Worse". You can find the article by Meredith Woerner here: [link]

Yes. The missing white cloud was intentional. It was all I had to work with to indicate the environmental collapse that finished off poor Yertle. Too subtle?

Global warming, bah! It's a natural process and we're not affecting it either way.

Blah blah... not caring.

While I DO care about the environment, I also know that Earth's temperature is like a pendulem. Sure its getting warmer, but it's mainly China's mostly not our fault.

so, not our fault=not our problem? I, for one, would like to continue to enjoy Yertle's existence, regardless of who's causing him to be threatened.

Not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is: We should stop freaking out about it. We can do something about it, but let's stop blaming a natural process for everyenvironmental problem.

Same goes for the pole flip. Main thing that'll happen is that we'll need to relearn how to read a compass.
