In the the 'first' versions, the members of the Cthulhu Cult have bones in their funny hair styles; in the 'revised' versions, they have dull and generic chrome domes. In the 'first' versions of these pages, both compositions are nicely set into a single page, with a wider range colors and witty features, such as fangs, eyeballs, and eyelashes on the tentacles; on the 'revised' versions, the tentacles are just tentacles, and the tentacles are as dull as seaweed, or maybe more dull. In what way are the 'revised' versions an improvement?
