I thought that, like most Dr. Seuss parodies, these wouldn't follow the trisyllabic meter that his real books follow.

Try the revised versions - the meter has been (I hope) improved. Some of these early ones didn't really cut it.

The whole first page sentence is likely a challenge for beginner readers. But insanity can arrive at any age.

I think "theosophists" might be a little beyond the reach of most beginning readers, but luckily Mummy would always be there to explain the hard words to my 7 year old daughter XD I love it XD
