Howdy friends!

Thanks to the many people who have taken the time to check out my art over the past few weeks, and especially everyone who dropped a comment - it is always very much appreciated.

Earlier today I noticed that a lot of people were stopping by to take a look at this:

I wasn't sure where the traffic was coming from, but was happy to have it.

I later discovered that BuzzFeed had posted an article featuring 25 pieces of good Dexter fan art:
< [link] >

I figured that the article must have been the source of the traffic.  When I took a closer look, I realised that although one of my illustrations had made the list, it appeared slightly odd, had someone else's signature in the corner, and had been credited to Etsy.  Now, I know I haven't put anything up on Etsy, so with my curiosity piqued, I swung by to take a look:

Just so's it's clear: This dude David Sweet < [link] > is not me.  He has not contacted me in any way.  He has stolen my art, and put his own signature in the corner to claim it as his own.  He is a thief.

If you visit his page you will notice that he has other artworks for sale, so it might be worthwhile checking to see whether he has stolen any of your stuff too!

Anyways, as always, take care of yourselves and be excellent to each other!

*** UPDATE (30 April 2013) ***

While David Sweet's stolen stuff has been pulled (thanks Etsy!), more stolen art has cropped up -

here, from RAURA: [link] (Thanks to PeterParkour for pointing it out)
and here, from CRZYGUY: [link]

Make sure you check that they haven't stolen any of your stuff too!

Wow, amazing art. I love Love Craftian stuff! I would very much like this as a poster in my room.

I just noticed your profile says "Itchy. Tasty." Excellent. Not a lot of people get it, but I do. Resident Evil would make a cool Seuss cover.

I wanted so badly to comment, I actually signed up a DA account just to do so :P

So your Time to Kill in Silent Hill was linked through the Facebook Silent Hill fan page. It's pretty damned awesome, as is the rest of your stuff. Are you going to print/bind/produce any of these? Because I would buy that shizz.

I love your Skyrim Alphabet and Bioshock cover as well.

And mad props for being an Aussie.

I am very much impressed.
I never considered before how much the Seussian style of illustration would lend to Lovecraft's works.
Very well done.

Hey DrFaustus...

I sent you a note last week (I think it was last week), and hadn't heard back from you. I just wanted to see if you received it, and thought that posting on here might be a good way to check.

Your stuff is absolutely fantastic.

Thanks!
